تجربۀ این کشورها نشان میدهد که چرخشموفقیتآمیز آنها از محور کالا به خاطر تلاش برایافزایش تولید و بهرهوری در بخشهای اولیه بودهاست.
در اینجا میتوان چنین پیشنهاد کرد که اگر تمامصادرکنندگان کالا سعی میکردند تا صادرات خودرا بطور همزمان افزایش دهند،قیمتها کاهش مییافتبانک جهانی براین باور است که این مشکل تنهابرای قهوه،کاکائو و چای وجود دارد."
