"In this paper, the writer tries to provide an answer to this question by discussing the views of Motahhari and Stace. According to these two scholars, the apparent incompatibility between mans free will and the law of cause and effect necessity is due to an improper definition of the free will. But Motahharis specific views on history (like the history of theology) shows that Master was also interested in philosophy of science from a historical point of view, even though this is overshadowed by his profound interest in his logical-philosophical approach.
