Cognitive-behavioral group in post-test stage had a significant effect on two dimensions of attachment (avoidance and anxiety) (p <0.05) that these effects were not stable (p <0.05) but showed significant lasting effects on all dimensions of Marital commitment (p <0.05). The results showed that the use of the emotion-oriented approach compared to cognitive-behavioral intervention to improve attachment and marital commitment of couples with marital conflict has priority.
