هدف: این نوشتار بر آن است ضمن تحلیل تعریف انسان از دیدگاه ژان پل سارتر و استاد مطهری به مقایسه اندیشههای دو متفکّر بپردازد. روش: اطلاعات این پژوهش بنیادی به روش کتابخانهای گردآوری و به شیوه توصیفی- تحلیلی پردازش شده است. یافتهها: ژان پل سارتر ضمن مخالفت با تعریف سنتی از انسان، با نگرشی متمایز به هستی انسان نسبت به موجودات دیگر با بنیان نهادن اصل تقدم وجود بر ماهیت، طبیعت کلی و ازلی برای انسان را نفی و آن را موجودی «در حال شدن» معرّفی میکند. استاد مطهری انسان را موجودی دو بعدی و واجد سرشت و فطرت الهی تعریف میکند که قانون خلقت در پرتو آزادی و اختیار، قلم ترسیم سرنوشت را به دست خود او داده است. موجودی بالقوه که حضیض حیوانیت و تعالی انسانیت دو سوی ماهیت بالفعل او را تشکیل میدهد و دسترسی به هر یک مرهون تصمیماتی است که فرد اتخاذ میکند. در اثنای تحلیل دو رویکرد به نظر میرسد با وجود اشتراکاتی بین دو دیدگاه وجوه تمایز عدیدهای مشهود است. نتیجه: تعریف اگزیستانسیالیسمی سارتر به اومانیسم و در بعد دنیوی میانجامد، لیکن آنچه استاد مطهری با تکیه بر آموزههای وحیانی ارائه میدهد، دربردارنده تمام ابعاد وجودی انسان است.
Objective: This article intends to analyze the definition of man from the perspective of Jean-Paul Sartre and Professor Motahhari to compare the ideas of two thinkers. Method: The information of this basic research has been collected by library method and processed by descriptive-analytical method. Findings: Jean Paul Sartre, disagreeing with the traditional description of human and establishing the principle existence precedes essence denies the same human nature and granted of human and introduces him as a project existing. Motahhari, Muslim philosopher, with revelationist vision, introduces human as a Two-dimensional creature with Divine nature that creation law has gave the power of fate to his own hands. A potential existence, that perigee animality (the nature of animals) and humanity’s ascendancy forms two sides of his actually essence, which accessing each one depend on decisions that one person takes in his life. During the analysis of the two approaches, it seems that despite the commonalities between the two perspectives, many aspects of the differences are evident. Conclusion: Sartre's definition of existentialism leads to humanism and to the worldly dimension, but what Master Motahhari offers based on revelatory teachings includes all aspects of human existence.
