خلاصة:
Emotional intelligence is a fundamental element of human behavior that operates independently of cognitive intelligence. This intelligence, by balancing emotions and reason, can lead humans to maximum success. The purpose of the present research is to extract the components of emotional intelligence from Islamic sources. The research method is qualitative content analysis. The statistical population of the research includes Islamic sources including the Quran, Nahj al-Balagha, and narrative books. The findings of the present study showed that the components of emotional intelligence are observed in religious teachings, and in fact, Islam, by providing educational and ethical strategies such as self-awareness, humility, suppressing anger, having peace of mind, good social interaction, open-mindedness, self-management, maintaining moderation, preserving dignity and language, flexibility, and well-being, tries to train believers with high emotional intelligence. Finally, it seems necessary to expand emotional intelligence by using the teachings of the Quran and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) which is a sample collection of managing emotions throughout life, and to strive to teach it to others, especially students, educators, parents, counselors and psychologists.
