خلاصة:
Due to the inevitable problems and unpleasantness of life, the nature of human life is inseparable from physical and psychological pains. The goal of psychotherapy is to help people cope with life's issues without suffering and torment. Accordingly, the aim of this research is to take a step towards discovering effective components in the treatment of injuries and mental disorders by using the teachings of the Holy Quran as a divine source for understanding humans and the issues surrounding them. Among the concepts close to this goal in the verses of the Quran is the remembrance of God (dhikr), which refers to an aspect of the 'self' that is connected to its Lord. Therefore, to study and extract a pattern of change for coping with psychological injuries, it is necessary to study this concept and its role in creating desirable feelings in humans. To achieve this goal, the present research was conducted using a qualitative method and the method of surah contemplation, focusing on Surah Al-Qaf. The findings showed that the main problem in the realm of humans is their lack of attention to their own evolution and growth; that is, they forget that they are supposed to travel a path to establish themselves in a position in this world and also reach fulfillment in that position in the afterlife and continue their eternal life based on it. Therefore, the main destination of treatment is to put the person in a state of awareness of what is happening within themselves, their relationships, and their surroundings, and to emerge from negligence and unawareness of the realities flowing in them, which is referred to as dhikr. According to the results obtained from Surah Al-Qaf, the factors strengthening this dhikr in humans included: repentance and constant attention to divine purposes, fear of warning and being law-abiding, having reverence and understanding greatness. The obstacles to realizing this dhikr included: wandering and confusion (in the matter of being perplexed), being caught in the direction of evil and harm, and the emergence of negative traits (the effect of not activating dhikr). Also, this surah introduces the ability to bear witness as the main and most important process of realizing dhikr, and since this ability is both a prerequisite and a result of realizing dhikr, it seems that strengthening it is one of the most important paths to treating mental disorders and freeing humans from suffering and torment.
