خلاصة:
This article examines female artists in terms of their presence in various artistic fields. The article seeks to answer two questions: 1. Has the number of female artists in different arts increased in recent years? 2. Is the presence of women in different arts the same or different? This research was conducted using a documentary study and the findings show that firstly, the artistic activities of women have grown compared to the past; secondly, this growth has not been the same in different artistic fields. The number of female filmmakers and playwrights is much less than the number of female painters and sculptors. Therefore, the proportion of women in each of the aforementioned arts is different compared to the proportion of men. While the lowest proportion of women are present in filmmaking, the highest number of them are active in painting; to the extent that currently, the number of female painters even exceeds that of male painters. The question raised in explaining the findings is whether social factors affect women and men to appear in art in different ways. In this article, a detailed answer is given to this question.

Finally, the main goal of the article is to provide an analytical answer to the question of how social factors influence whether women and men engage in different artistic activities.
Instead, Catherine King, in an article entitled “Meaning Things: Women’s Craft and Men’s Art,” discusses the division of female and male artistic activities and their social reasons.
The first category is case studies that have been conducted in the past in the field of women's art and mostly by the author of this article, which constitutes the basic information of the research.
Gender Division of Artistic Activities In continuation of the article, to answer the first question, information related to male and female artists during the post-revolutionary period, with an emphasis on the decade of 1380, is provided, broken down by type of art.
Discussion and Conclusion The statistics presented in this article showed that female artists are more active in the fields of painting and sculpture compared to the fields of film directing and playwriting.
These statistics show that one of the reasons for the increase in the number of active female artists in various artistic fields has been the increase in university art education for women.
