خلاصة:
Judging Nietzsche as a critic of modern culture and a pioneer in the culture and thought of the modern era is a very difficult task. However, addressing the reasons for criticizing the ethics, philosophy, and culture of the past eras is an effort that Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche undertook in the form of his philosophy of will and thus pointed out the requirements of the destruction of human will and life. Nietzsche, in this new pioneering, in reaction to the culture and discourse dominant in the 18th and 19th centuries AD, sought to recreate the forces of life (thought and will or reason and life) in the form of the will to power, so that by emphasizing the creative nature of man and the creation of new values, he would place modern man in a position that is necessary for his identification and understanding. In this article, we have tried to show that Nietzsche's important work in representing his philosophy of will is a critique of the truth and rationality of Western modern culture since Socrates through changing the dominant discourse, and a critique of any general intellectual principles and a return to the factor of will and the ability of the individual human being.

Reconsidering Nietzsche's Philosophy of Will in the Face of the Truth of Modern Culture ∗ Mohammad Tohidfam Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch (Date of Receipt: 2006-10-04 – Date of Approval: 2006-12-14) Abstract: Judging Nietzsche as a critic of modern culture and a pioneer of new culture and thought in the modern era is a very difficult task.
In this new beginning, in reaction to the culture and discourse prevailing in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Nietzsche sought to recreate the forces of life (thought and will or reason and life) in the form of the will to power, in order to place modern man in a position that is essential for his identification and understanding by emphasizing the creative nature of man and the creation of new values.
This article attempts to show that Nietzsche's important work in representing his philosophy of will is a critique of the truth and rationality of Western modern culture since Socrates through changing the dominant discourse, and a critique of any general intellectual principles and a return to the factor of will and the ability of the individual human being.
Therefore, considering Nietzsche’s entire philosophy and examining his works in this article, we have tried to show that Nietzsche’s important work in representing his philosophy of will, criticizing Western ethics since Socrates, rejecting any absolute truth and general intellectual-belief principles, and returning to the will and ability of the individual human being, whose peak of choosing will in life can be seen in accepting tragedy.
