خلاصة:
The meeting between Imam Zayn al-Abidin (peace be upon him) and Muslim ibn Uqba during the uprising of Harra has been reported in various ways. Examining the reports of this meeting can clarify the ambiguity surrounding one of the controversial events in the political life of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (peace be upon him) and explain part of the political doctrine of the Shia school during the period of taqiyya (dissimulation). However, previous studies on these reports do not seem sufficient. Therefore, this article examines two issues in the course of this meeting: first, the issue of Imam's (peace be upon him) companions in this meeting, and second, the issue of his (peace be upon him) allegiance to Muslim. In the first issue, historical documents indicate that Imam (peace be upon him) did not seek refuge with anyone, including Marwan and Abd al-Malik, to protect himself from the evil of Muslim. In the second issue, numerous documents have been presented that the allegiance of Imam (peace be upon him) to Muslim in the form in which Imam (peace be upon him) expressed servitude to Yazid is rejected. Also, evidence has been provided for the forgery by the Abbasids in this category of reports, which can pave the way for further research regarding the reports of this meeting.

Statement of the Problem In the year 63 (Ibn Qutaybah, 220/1) and according to some reports 62 (Ya'qubi, 251/2) Hijri, the people of Medina, during the Revolt of Harra, besieged the Umayyads in Marwan’s house (Baladhuri, 339/5 and 340) and expelled them from the city of Medina (Masudi, al-Tanbih wa al-Ashraf, 279) and deposed Yazid ibn Muawiya from the caliphate.
328 or 329) also mentions a report about the meeting of Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) with Yazid ibn Muawiya in Medina in Rawdat al-Kafi.
b) The Pledge of Allegiance of Imam al-Zayn al-'Abidin (peace be upon him) to Muslim ibn 'Uqbah Reports about the pledge of allegiance of the Imam (peace be upon him) can be divided into three categories: 1) Historians before al-Ya'qubi or contemporary with him, such as Ibn Sa'd (215/5), Ibn Qutaybah (218/1), al-Baladhuri (348/5), al-Dinawari (266), and historians after him like al-Tabari in both of his narrations (379/4), Ibn A'tham (163/5), al-Masudi (Muruj al-Dhahab, 85/3 and al-Tanbih wa al-Ishraf, 280), al-Mufid (152/2), al-Irbili (300/2 and 301), al-Dhahabi in both of his narrations (al-Dhahabi, Tarikh al-Islam, events of the year 21/63 and 28 and Siyar A'lam al-Nubala', 320/3 and 321 and 325), Ibn Kathir in both of his narrations (223/8 and 237), and… do not mention any pledge of allegiance for Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) to Muslim ibn 'Uqbah.
A reflection on the report of the late al-Kulayni (may God have mercy) in al-Kafi However, this narrative is outside the scope of our discussion, which is the examination of reports related to the meeting of Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) with Muslim ibn 'Uqbah in the Harrah uprising.
