Crime prevention requires the direct intervention of the police force in order to reduce crime. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of police disciplinary measures in preventing and reducing the rate of crimes in the marginal areas of Neka coastal city. This research is applied in terms of research purpose, descriptive and analytical in terms of survey type. The statistical population of the research is 3500 people aged between 18 and 55 years old in the suburbs of the coastal city of Neka. In order to collect research data, a researcher-made questionnaire of police disciplinary measures and a researcher-made questionnaire of crime prevention and reduction have been used. The face validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by respected professors, experts and experts, and its reliability was found to be 0.84 and 0.78 using Cronbach's alpha formula. To analyze the data, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, statistical correlation coefficient, multiple regression and Friedman test were used using SPSS software. The findings of the research show that there is a positive and significant effect of police disciplinary measures on preventing and reducing the occurrence of crimes. Also, the dimensions of police disciplinary actions including (the quality of police actions, the quality of police facilities and equipment and how to use them, the way of judicial treatment of criminals) have a positive and significant effect on the prevention and reduction of crimes. According to Friedman's test, the highest average was assigned to the quality of police facilities and equipment and how to use them, then how to deal with criminals and finally the quality of police actions. The results show that the timely actions of the police can prevent or reduce crime.

The aim of the present research is an analysis of the role of police regulatory measures in preventing and reducing the rate of crime occurrence in the marginal areas of the coastal city of Neka.
Also, the dimensions of police regulatory measures, including (quality of police actions, quality of police facilities and equipment and how they are utilized, and the manner of judicial treatment of criminals), have a significant positive effect on the prevention and reduction of crime occurrence.
Mohseni Tabrizi, Shakripour, and Zangi (1387), in a study titled "The Role of Law Enforcement Measures in Crime Prevention in the Slum Areas of Buheman, whose statistical population is the adult residents in the slum areas of Buheman city," reached the conclusion that based on the obtained results, there is a significant relationship between the quality of police measures, the quality of police facilities and equipment and how they are utilized, the judicial approach to criminals, and prevention and reduction, and the proximity of Buheman city to Greater Tehran with the prevalence of specific types of crimes in the slum areas of Buheman.
In the analytical statistics of this research, for the purpose of analyzing the role of police law enforcement measures in preventing and reducing the incidence of crimes in the slum areas of the coastal city of Neka, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Kendall's tau correlation coefficient, regression, and the Friedman test have been used.
