خلاصة:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the presence of spectators on increasing arousal and its effect on the depth perception of athletes. The statistical population of this research consisted of all students of the Faculty of Physical Education of Tehran University, from whom 58 people (23 women and 35 men with an average age of 23.3 and a standard deviation of 2.16) were randomly selected. The subjects were tested in two motivational environments (with and without spectators). To measure the level of arousal of the subjects, the Sport Competition Anxiety Test (SCAT) was used. Also, the tool used to measure depth perception was the electric depth perception tester (model B122). The results of the paired t-test at the 0.05 level showed a significant difference between the results of the depth perception test in the two low and high motivational environments. In other words, the subjects in the high motivational environment (i.e., in the presence of spectators) made incorrect estimates in depth perception, which effect was similar in both genders. According to the results of this research, novice athletes in a high motivational environment pay attention to different information sources and environmental cues compared to a low motivational environment, which leads to incorrect judgment in depth estimation.

Master's Student, University of Tehran Abstract {IBThe purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the presence of spectators on increasing arousal and its effect on the depth perception of athletes.
05 level showed a significant difference between the results of the depth perception test in the two low and high motivational environments.
According to the results of this research, novice athletes in a high motivational environment, compared to a low motivational environment, pay attention to different information sources and environmental cues, which leads to incorrect judgment in depth estimation.
These researchers stated that the effect of fear on depth perception observed in their study was due to the increased level of arousal in an individual who is afraid.
In this research, an attempt has been made to increase arousal in subjects by manipulating one of the components of environmental motivation (the presence of spectators) and to measure the potential effects on depth perception in both men and women.
The subjects, under these conditions (without the presence of spectators), completed the Sport Competitive Anxiety Test (TACS) and performed the depth perception test (three attempts)5.
05 to compare the subjects' scores on the depth perception test in the two high and low motivational environments.
The results of the sports competitive anxiety test indicated an increase in the arousal of athletes in the presence of spectators.
Then, the subjects' scores in the depth perception test were compared in two motivational environments (with and without spectators).
