خلاصة:
The effect of some environmental factors (geographical orientation and slope) on improving the quality status (trunk form and vigor) of Eldar pine trees (Pinus eldarica Medw.) was studied in an urban green space in Tehran (Lavizan Forest Park). For this purpose, a number of 2.56-acre square sample plots were selected in the main geographical directions and slopes of 0-15% and 20-40%. The results of the analysis showed that, unlike the quality of trunk form, the quality of vigor is affected by direction or slope (at the 5% level). The highest frequency of grade one and two vigor, regardless of slope, was observed in the south and east directions, respectively, and regardless of geographical direction, in the slopes of 0-15% and 20-40%, respectively. It can be concluded from the results of this research that these environmental factors (direction, slope) only affect the vigor of Eldar pine trees, so that overall, this characteristic is more desirable in the slope of 0-15% and the south or east directions than in other slopes and directions.

68-73 The Effect of Some Environmental Factors on Improving the Qualitative Characteristics of Eldar Pine in Tehran's Urban Green Spaces Dr. Masoud Tabari* Baharak Abdollahi** Dr. Khosro Saqeb Talebi*** Dr. Mahmoud Zabiri**** Abstract The effect of some environmental factors (geographical orientation and slope aspect) on improving the qualitative status (trunk form and vigor) of Eldar pine trees (Pinus eldarica Medw.
In fact, the present research aims to show the effect of environmental factors such as geographical orientation and slope aspect on the quality of trunk form and vigor of Eldar pine trees in an urban green space in the foothills of Tehran.
(2): Frequency (%) of different trunk form grades of Eldar pine trees (Image Image) The results of the Chi-square (X2) test showed that the difference in frequency of different trunk grades in different directions is not statistically significant (d.
(6): Frequency (%) of different vigor grades of Eldar pine trees in different directions Discussion and Conclusion The results of this study indicate that in this forest park (Lavizan), vigor, unlike trunk form, is affected by both direction and slope.
In general, the results of this research reveal that in Lavizan Forest Park, environmental factors such as geographical direction and slope only affect the vigor of Eldar pine trees, so that the quality of this characteristic is more suitable on gentler slopes (0 to 15%) than on steeper slopes (20 to 40%) and more desirable in the southern and eastern directions than in the northern and western directions.
