خلاصة:
This article examines the views of Aziz Nasafi (probable birth in 596 AH), one of the mystics and philosophers of the 7th century AH, who was very influential in combining mysticism and philosophy in Iran. In addition to proposing the idea of the hierarchical nature of knowledge, he also presented the concept of essential government, which later continued in the Isfahan school. This article shows how the thought of Aziz Nasafi led to the establishment of political thought based on mystical thought in Iran. It seems that this current continued in Iran and became a dominant current. Nasafi's political thought can be called mystical political thought, and thus the present article examines the aspects of the influence of Iranian political thought on Nasafi's mystical views on politics.

Since Nasafi considers a skeptical quality for knowledge, he introduces the one who has been able to reach the highest (1)In addition to these, many of Nasafi’s manuscripts have remained, which are available in the central libraries of the University of Tehran, the Bayzid Validin Library, the Malek Library, the Salimiyyah Library, and the Library of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, each of which is unique in its kind and needs correction and publication.
The political importance of the issue of perfection in Nasafi’s view is realized in the return of the complete seeker after visiting God. The Perfect Man, having gone through all stages of knowledge, knows better than anyone what is in the best interest of the people; because he has reached the highest degree of knowledge (Nasafi, no date: 133).
One of the important areas of connection between epistemology and political thought in Islamic philosophy lies in this very point; the Perfect Man, in Nasafi’s words, is called “Khalifa of Allah” and the creation needs his guidance and leadership.
The Perfect Man and the Role of the Divine Vicegerent Nasafi considers a person who has attained relative perfection in knowledge and completed the microcosm to be the vicegerent of God in the macrocosm.
Politics is also considered by Nasafi in this regard, because what is important is non-attachment to it, and the Perfect Man can take the government and bring comfort to creation.
