Assistant Professor in the Quran and Hadith University، Qom Lecturer in Specialized Center for Hadith Sciences Hadith khawni (reading hadith) is a major requirement of an expert of Islamic sciences which has always been practiced officially in the Islamic seminaries from way back. Nowadays this type of reading is done mostly by individuals. After mentioning the method of selecting an appropriate text، the author of the present paper presents a practical and methodical plan to study hadith literature. The plan has been outlined in seven main parts (seven wadies) and forty selected texts (forty manzils) for about a thousand hours of study. In other words، it will take only twenty five hours to read every book or selected hadiths. Those who are interested in reading hadith can read these texts within a four-year program and rank among the scholars of hadith.

It was mentioned at the beginning that some start with the first sermon of Nahj al-Balagha or the Book of Intellect in Al-Kafi, or they encounter difficult Hadiths that do not possess the necessary attractiveness for individuals at this stage.
In view of the aforementioned characteristics, a methodical Hadith reading study program titled "Seven Valleys, Forty Stations" has been designed, the stages and details of which follow.
Seven Valleys, Forty Stations</H2> In the methodical Hadith reading program, seven valleys (stages) and forty stations (books) are considered have been taken into account.
This book is attributed to Shahid al-Awwal - who is one of the greatest Shia scholars - and is an abridgment of the book Nuzhat al-Nazir wa Tanbih al-Khatir, authored by Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn Hasan ibn Nasr Halwani (one of the Hadith scholars of the fifth century), containing a collection of wise sayings of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Infallible Imams (AS) on various topics.
The Fourth Station, Sifat al-Shia</H4> The fourth station is the study of the book Sifat al-Shia (Attributes of the Shia), by Sheikh Saduq, Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Husayn ibn Babawayh al-Qummi (305-381 AH), which contains the narrations of the Imams( regarding the attributes and characteristics of the Shia and what qualities the followers of Muhammad and the Ahl al-Muhammad( must possess to be the true followers of those exalted ones.
