خلاصة:
The secret of the Messenger of God (PBUH) and its disclosure by one of his wives in verse 3 of Surah Tahrim is one of the topics that has been the subject of controversy among the commentators. The narrations of the dignity of revelation cited by the commentators of the two sects (from the 6th century until now) in expressing the meaning of the said secret have not only not diminished its complexity, but have also led to attributing inappropriate relations to of the Prophet. In this article, by judging the context of the first verses of Surah Tahrim and examining the narrations on the status of revelation, the status of revelation has been achieved, which has been considered by Shiite scholars until the fifth century and has been neglected since then. In this revelation, the meaning of the secret of the Messenger of God (PBUH) is the immediate caliphate of Ali (PBUH) from God, and the actions of others in removing him from the caliphate are introduced.

In these narrations, in addition to preserving the dignity and infallibility of the Messenger of Allah 6, the connection between the aforementioned secret and the phrase ﴿صالح المومنین﴾ as well as the reason for the Lord's intense reaction against its disclosure are explained.
In the article "Criticism and review of existing views regarding the disclosure of the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) secret in the initial verses of Surah At-Tahrim," based on famous narrations (in Shiite and Sunni sources) which all originate from Sunni sources, it has been concluded that in Shiite sources, there is no independent occasion of revelation from Sunni sources.
Of course, the latter two articles possess much more strength compared to the first two and have been able to prove and state the incorrectness of the mentioned narrations; however, the neglect of the occasions of revelation present in early Shiite sources (up to the fifth century) has caused these two articles also to be unable, by citing credible sources, provide an appropriate answer regarding the intended meaning of "the secret disclosed in these verses" and other aforementioned questions.
In Sunni sources, in multiple narrations, three different trends are mentioned regarding the reason for the Messenger of Allah 6 disclosing a secret to one of his wives and its subsequent disclosure.
In this occasion of revelation, the intended meaning of the secret of the Messenger of Allah6 is introduced as the immediate caliphate of Ali (peace be upon him) by God, and the actions of others to sideline him from the caliphate.
