Typology and verbal and book characteristics of moral principles with emphasis on the Qur'an and hadithsOne of the most important issues for ethicists is to obtain ethical principles. Ethical principles, while they can organize the moral policy of a moral system, are also effective in solving moral challenges. Moral systems themselves, based on the type of moral theory, propose moral principles, which are sometimes the common principles of all moral systems. The study and analysis of the teachings of the Qur'an and Islamic traditions shows that the most important moral principles of religious teachings can be achieved based on verbal characteristics such as word structure and content and content characteristics such as emphasis, frequency, repetition and presentation. The investigation and analysis of the teachings of the Quran and Islamic hadiths – conducted using a descriptive-analytical method – show that it is possible to reach the most important moral principles intended by religious teachings based on linguistic indicators such as form and substance, and content indicators such as emphasis, frequency, repetition, and precedence.
With regard to the epistemological sources of Islam, especially the Quran and Islamic hadiths, moral principles can be obtained based on criteria; in principle, it can be said that moral principles as one of the components of the Islamic moral system is acceptable; therefore, the method of this research is based on extracting the verses and hadiths related to the issue in this article and explaining the nature and essence of moral principles, while referring to the indicators for deducing and capturing moral principles from the teachings of Islamic ethics with a focus on verses and hadiths, and some of the most important verbal and content-based indicators denoting the principles of Islamic ethics in verses and hadiths will be addressed.
