خلاصة:
Mahdism, as one of the essential pillars of religious teachings, plays a significant role in shaping and guiding anti-oppression movements within the resistance front. Rooted in the anticipation of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), these teachings hold a special position in the foundations and principles of resistance movements. This study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing from Islamic narrations (riwayat) on Mahdism to examine its role in Islamic resistance. Findings reveal that Mahdavi teachings—through emphasizing justice-seeking, opposition to oppression, positive and hopeful thinking, divine leadership, and unity against hegemonic powers—not only strengthen the spiritual foundation of resistance forces but also shape their clear objectives and strategic orientations. By offering a spiritual and strategic framework, Mahdavi thought acts as a key factor in enhancing resistance against oppression and provides a sustainable model for the Islamic Ummah.
