Managing Safavid court was mostly under the control of one of the four high-ranking Safavid officials called Īshīk Āghāsī Bāshī dīwān. This court official had several subordinates for managing court affairs and duties like holding court parties and assemblies, welcoming special guests and foreign ambassadors, managing harem, and protecting court. In this research, the roles and duties of this high-ranking Safavid official and his subordinates have been considered and compared to similar officials of the Ottoman court. Findings of this comparative study indicate that although no certain official of Ottoman court could not be equated with Īshīk Āghāsī Bāshī dīwān in terms of authority and duties, some officials such as Dar Al-Saada Ağası, Kapı Ağası, and other groups in Ottoman court had a part of Safavid head court authority and performed similar duties.

Based on this, while describing and introducing the Ishik Agha Bash Divan and his assistants, the duties of these individuals and groups, including holding assemblies, receiving guests and ambassadors, managing the harem section, and the protection and guarding of the court, have been addressed, and in each section, similar groups in the Ottoman court have been examined through comparative study.
The Dar al-Sa'ada Aghasi was another of the four major Ottoman court positions, whose place can be considered similar to the high Ishik Agha Bash Divan, although, unlike the Kapu Aghasi, it was more than 1 1.
Given what has been stated, a specific equivalent position cannot be identified for the Ishik Agha Bash Divan in the Ottoman Empire, and relatively similar positions, in terms of authority, status, and volume of duties, were placed in the lowest ranks compared to the managers of the Safavid court.
One of the positions whose field of activity and importance can be observed in the assembly and in the Harem section was the 'Pishkesh-nevis of the Special Service of the Sharifa,' whose important duties included recording the offerings presented to the Shah in the Majlis-e Behesht Ayin (except for food) 1 and submitting the list of them to the Ishik Agha Bash Divan so that, through the Majlis-nevis, it could be presented to the Shah (Mirza Sami'a, 9; Mirza Rafi'a, 195, 271).
