This writing aims to cast a look at the first verse of the Holy Quran and its characteristics. The article focuses on the tripartite structure of the names of the Basmalah and the similarities that exist in terms of structure, usage, and to some extent, wording and concept, between the three aforementioned divine names and other rituals. The two final names of this verse, Rahman and Rahim, despite being derived from a single root, possess numerous and very precise differences that can be seen by contemplating the verses of the Quran. In this discourse, the contents of the verses of the Holy Quran have been utilized to better identify the Basmalah and its concept, as well as interreligious, historical, and cross-linguistic information in a comparative manner.

1 The Holy Quran, through the Basmalah verse, begins with three of the Beautiful Names of God. The tripartite structure (1) such as the Trinity or the triple manifestation of absolute reality in Hinduism, the triad system of gods and Ameshaspents in Indian and Iranian or Indian and European religions, and also the tripartite class of gods in Indian and European traditions; the concept of good thoughts and good words in Zoroastrianism; the triple manifestations in Hindu philosophy; similar cases in ancient Egyptian and Greek mythology and their triad of gods; the special status of three in the philosophy and astronomy of Egypt and Babylon; the number of sides of a triangle, which was considered the first complete geometric shape by ancient mathematicians; the threefold reality and the category of levels of existence and degrees of creation in the ancient Taoist religion of China; the threefold nature of the three mental manifestations and the threefold levels of science and knowledge in the philosophical schools of Buddha; the three forms in Avayavada in Jainism; the three Arab idols whose names are mentioned in verses 91 and 02 of Surah An-Najm; the three utterances of God and their position in the Book of Genesis, (see: Upanishad, 2705a; Muhammad Ahmad, 72; Danzig, 94 and 05; Rosenburg, 33 and 22; Media Sap 11).
