In this research, beyond identifying the sources of the hadiths containing this expression and examining their chains of transmission (isnad) and the clues of their issuance, the analysis of the expression "la min shay'" as a logical proposition and the explanation of the teaching derived from this expression, positioned between the two hypotheses of creation from prior matter and creation from nothingness, is the focus.
First, the identification of sources, chains of transmission, and core vocabulary of these hadiths as a hadith-based discussion; second, the evaluation of the proposition derived from the expression "la min shay'" and determining its direction, quantifier, subject, and predicate as a logical proposition; and third, the analysis of the teaching of "creation not from something" between the two hypotheses of "the eternity of matter" and "creation from nothingness" as a theological-philosophical research.
