خلاصة:
Among mystical prose texts, Ma'arif-i Baha'u'l-Walad is considered a unique literary text. This book is a collection of the notes of Baha'u'l-Walad (628) that has been written in a novel and different way from other mystical works. Ma'arif contains his discourses on various subjects. With a passing glance at the disjointed parts of this book, what appears repetitive and continuous is the striking presence of Quranic verses. Baha'u'l-Walad has had innovations in his attention to Quranic verses, and if we consider the most important feature of the prose of Ma'arif to be the rhetorical devices in Quranic analyses, it would not be an exaggeration. This essay begins with a brief examination of the genre of Ma'arif as a foundation for a coherent investigation and concludes with a linguistic and content-based perspective. The first investigation is a linguistic perception that comes together under the title of poetic language. The second investigation is a content-based study that seeks to find the intra-textual techniques of Ma'arif, which are intertwined with the internal and external experiences of Baha'u'l-Walad. In the final report, the Ash'ari ideology of Baha'u'l-Walad is deemed significant. To explain these matters, the author has attempted to open a new window into the magnificent world of this text by providing brief yet precise evidence from the text.

Keywords: Ma'arif-e Baha' al-Walad, mystical interpretation, poetic language, intra-textual interpretation, ideological interpretation Introduction The widespread attention to the Quran and Quranic verses plays an important role in the expansion of Sufism and mystical writings.
Therefore, the genre of Ma'arif is a hybrid genre in which the footprints of various literary types can be seen in its different sections, but the chain that links the meanings of these fragmented parts is the Quranic verses and the inferences, interpretations, and sometimes the ta'wil (esoteric interpretations) of Baha' al-Walad.
Baha' al-Walad's Poetic Language in the Interpretation of Verses Manifesting complex mental states and discoveries and intuitions through attention to the Quran has been of utmost importance in mystical texts.
As mentioned in the previous section, the predominant aspect of Baha' al-Walad's Ma'arif is attention to the meaning of Quranic verses, but its primary goal and genre is not mystical interpretation.
Intra-textual references and interpretation According to the custom of the Majlis-e Goyan, Baha' al-Walad presents his discourse around a verse in his writings; his perception of the verses can be examined at three levels: 1- Textual signs (the verse in question): In this regard, the referential elements of the text are of great importance; in every verse, a word or phrase is considered the mainstay of the verse, which is counted as a referential element to something outside the text.
Baha' al-Walad's process of interpretation turns into a process of movement within the text of the Quran; he explicitly creates a type of textual reference, meaning he cites other verses.
