خلاصة:
Analysis of the verses of Wilayah of Ahl al-Bayt (as) from the perspective of seekers of truth. The massive flood of converts to Shiism has prompted researchers to examine their most important reasons, who are referred to in terminology as 'Mustabsirin' (seekers of truth). A seeker of truth is someone who has turned from other religions and sects toward the Shiite school of thought and, through the grace of God and the Ahl al-Bayt (as), has had their eyes opened toward the truth. In their books, which they authored after their conversion, they have cited the verses and narrations that facilitated their inclination toward Shiism. This article, using a descriptive-analytical method and library resources, examines the most important Quranic evidences used by these seekers. Investigations show that, in addition to narrations, the verses of Wilayah, Tathir, Ikmal al-Din, Salawat, Mawaddah, Mubahala, Khayr al-Bariyyah, etc., have played the most significant role in their seeking of the truth.

All members of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), scholars of tafsir and hadith from the Shi'a, and many Sunni commentators, agree that this noble verse was revealed concerning Ali (AS), who gave his ring in charity to a poor person while praying in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
According to the narrations regarding the occasion of the revelation of the verse, it is confirmed that the intended ones by Ahl al-Bayt are the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), Ali, Fatima, Hasan, and Husayn.
As has been narrated in Tafsir al-Tabari from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: «آيه تطهير درباره ي پنج نفر نازل شد، من و علي و فاطمه و حسن و حسين » and it was narrated from Umm Salama that the Verse of Purification was revealed in her house, and the Prophet (PBUH) called Ali, Fatima, Hasan, and Husayn, and placed them under the Kisa (cloak) and they were covered, then he said: These are my Ahl al-Bayt, from whom Allah has removed impurity and filth and made them pure and clean.
(Zahedi, 1392 SH, 71-72) Sa'ib Abdul Hamid says regarding this: The evidence that the wives of the Prophet (PBUH) are not included in the Verse of Purification is a hadith from Umm Salama, who narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) placed the cloak over Hasan, Husayn, Ali (peace be upon them), and Fatima (SA) and said: "O God, these are my family and my chosen ones, remove them from every impropriety and make them pure and clean.
