Establishing sustainable and purposeful communication with foreign audiences to elucidate and safeguard the principles, values, and objectives of the Islamic Revolution and the policies of the system, under the guidance of the wise statements and positions of the Leader of the Revolution, has consistently reinforced the country's public diplomacy. In this context, the present study aims to address the question: "What is the role of system leadership in enhancing the effectiveness of the Islamic Republic of Iran's public diplomacy through credibility enhancement?" The research employs a descriptive-analytical method and is based on the hypothesis that the system's leadership, considering its position within the country's political-legal structure and the existing capacities in the discourse of the Islamic Revolution, has played a guiding and credibility-enhancing role in the country's public diplomacy to secure national interests and Islamic benefits. The system's leadership has effectively contributed in both affirmative and preventive manners to the formation of a realistic mental image of pure Islam and the objectives of the Revolution on one hand, and to the prevention of distortions and negative mental images of the Revolution's messages on the other. If the effectiveness of public diplomacy is contingent upon the credibility of the message sender and its content, the system's leadership is not only considered the most significant pillar of credibility as the originator of the message but also the content of the message itself is derived from the Islamic, intellectual, and ideological foundations of the system's leadership. Furthermore, the acceptance and reception of the leadership's message by audiences and public opinion, especially among oppressed nations, indicate the central role and position of the system's leadership in public diplomacy.
