ملخص الجهاز:
Aside from the reports of genealogical sources from around the late 4th and early 5th centuries AH onwards, which mention the claims of Sayyids attributed to Hossein bin Musa in Tabas, the antiquity of the existing tomb in Tabas—which, considering an inscription dated 294 AH and some archaeological conjectures, dates back at least to the 5th century AH—can be considered as evidence for the burial of the figure in question in that city.
Mohammad Reza Barani (2011) also, in the article "Biography of Five of the Children of Imam Kazim (AS)," examined the shrines of Shiraz, Kufa, Foll, and Tabas, and concluded that the burial place of Hossein bin Musa is most likely located in Tabas.
Jamshid Roosta (2015) also, in the article "A Comparative Study of the Historical Life of Two Homonymous Imamzadehs in the Provinces of Fars and Khorasan," spoke of Hossein's migration from Medina and, to one's great astonishment, considered both the Tabas and Shiraz burial sites to belong to him; thus, he has not succeeded in discovering the true identity of the figures buried in the two aforementioned shrines.
Perhaps it can be said with greater certainty that the person buried in this shrine is Abu Abdullah Hossein bin Zaid bin Musa, the grandson of Imam Kazim (as); because it has been reported that he and his children lived in Arjan, which was located near present-day Behbahan in the past (Ibn Sufi, 1380: 363; Fakhr Razi, 1377: 114).
