God, who is the absolute ruler of existence and the manager of the affairs of the universe, has willed to clothe the being known as human in the mantle of the vicegerency of God and place him as His successor on earth; however, since the flower of this existence was always threatened by the thorns of temptation and sin, he did not remain faithful to the covenant he had made with his God from eternity, stepped beyond the circle of devotion and servitude to God, and engaged in rebellion and insolence on earth. By departing from the path of truth and disobeying His divine command and the teachings of His prophets, he led God's servants into weakness and blocked the way of God for them. But based on the stability of the creation system in justice, God promised to bestow His grace and kindness upon all those who have been subjected to oppression and weakness in some way and to make them the heirs and leaders of the earth. However, He has deferred the fulfillment of this promise to a time when the oppressed rise up against tyrants and oppressors and use their actual talents and forces to break the chains of intellectual captivity. He also set the two conditions of faith and righteous deeds for succession on earth so that through them they may attain the worthiness of inheriting the earth. This promise will be based on verse 55 of Surah An-Nur and other verses of the Quran, as well as narrations and hadiths reported from the pure Imams (AS) regarding the time of Hazrat Mahdi (AS). Accordingly, the world is waiting for a day when the absolute government of the world will fall into the hands of the pure and the righteous, who believe in the one God and whose actions and behaviors are based on truth and reality and are grounded in the divine nature.
