خلاصة:
Verse 25 of Surah Al-Anfal is one of the verses of interest in the interpretations of the two sects. Examining the approach of commentators in interpreting this verse clearly shows that commentators have utilized various methods to re-examine and understand the proofs of the Divine Word and have not followed a specific method or pattern in this regard; rather, each has turned to a method based on the foundations and principles accepted by themselves. This verse consists of three parts: the first part, 'وَاتَّقُواْ فِتْنَةً' (and beware of fitna), and the middle part, 'لَّا تُصِیبنَّ الَّذِینَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنکُمْ خَاصَّةً' (lest the wrongdoers among you be afflicted), contain ambiguities that have drawn the attention of commentators. This research, with a descriptive-analytical approach, examines the method of commentators in interpreting verse 25 of Al-Anfal in the Shiite interpretations 'Al-Tibyan', 'Rawd al-Jinan', and 'Al-Mizan', and the Sunni interpretations 'Jami' al-Bayan', 'Al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir', and 'Al-Munir'. The findings indicate that among the interpretations of the two sects, 'Al-Mizan' holds a distinguished position in terms of the richness of discussions, consideration of various aspects, their critique and review, and the presentation of a preferred opinion based on the verses of the Quran.

The Method of the Two Sects in the Interpretation of Verse 25 of Surah Al-Anfal / 155 The commentator of "Al-Tibyan" explains the two words "fitna" and "la tusibanna" in the interpretation of this verse and emphasizes them; according to this commentator, fitna is explained as a calamity that reveals a person's inner self and the chaos that leads individuals to injustice, and "la tusibanna" is considered from two perspectives, partial and universal, where partial means only specific wrongdoers and universal encompasses all individuals.
, Vol. 9: 144) Since Tabari does not have different opinions regarding this verse, there is no need for a summary, and he stated that fitna, in his view, is affliction and trial, and regarding "la tusibanna," he said that it is not the response to the condition but a prohibition after a command, meaning He commanded them and then prohibited them Table No. 4 (Refer to the page image) Ibn Jarir al-Tabari's Interpretive Method Tabari begins the interpretation of each verse as follows: "Al-qawl fi ta'wil qawlihi ta'ala" (The saying regarding the interpretation of His words, Exalted is He), and his intention by "ta'wil" is the same as the interpretation and explanation of the meaning of the verse; because every word indicates a specific meaning, and in expression, the word is the path and the meaning is the destination.
