خلاصة:
Problem Statement and Objective:In the Iranian economic context, where stagflation has become a persistent and critical challenge, startups—due to their fragile organizational structures and limited resources—are highly vulnerable to instability and failure. Under such conditions, enhancing organizational resilience through strategic intelligence becomes a vital necessity. Despite increasing academic attention to resilience, there remains a notable theoretical and empirical gap regarding comprehensive models based on real-world experiences of entrepreneurs, particularly in emerging economies like Iran. This study seeks to address this gap by designing and explaining an integrated model that demonstrates how strategic intelligence can strengthen resilience in startups.Methodology:This research adopts an empirical approach focused on the in-depth analysis of entrepreneurs’ lived experiences in dynamic environments. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 14 founders and executives of active startups. Through rigorous analytical coding, a conceptual model was developed. The model was subsequently validated using a researcher-designed questionnaire and tested quantitatively through statistical analysis via SPSS and Smart PLS software.Findings:The data analysis identified five core components shaping strategic intelligence in startups: intelligent data gathering and processing, structured storage and access to information, the application of predictive algorithms and artificial intelligence, development of data-driven reactive strategies, and reengineering operational processes in times of economic crisis. The findings indicated that each of these components significantly contributes to enhancing organizational resilience. The proposed model exhibited robust explanatory power in stagflationary contexts. Conclusion:The final model provides a practical framework for a deeper understanding of the interconnection between strategic intelligence and organizational resilience in startups. It facilitates adaptability and sustainability in turbulent economic conditions and serves as a valuable tool for policymakers, support institutions, and executive managers in shaping financial, technological, and institutional decisions.
ملخص الجهاز:
Given the importance of organizational resilience in startups and the existing challenges in stagflationary conditions, this research focuses on the design and specification of Business Intelligence models to strengthen the resilience of startups against economic crises.
The present research, by designing a scientific questionnaire and collecting field data from employees of active startups in Tehran, as well as interviewing experts in this field, intends to provide, for the first time in Iran, an empirical, data-driven, and localized model for strengthening the organizational resilience of startups with a focus on Business Intelligence.
This research not only focuses on improving strategic decision-making through Business Intelligence, but also specifically addresses the use of these systems to strengthen organizational resilience in the face of crises.
Thus, a theoretical and grounded framework for designing and explaining the business intelligence model of startups for organizational resilience in inflationary recession conditions has been formed based on valid data and documented analyses, which will have appropriate theoretical support in the subsequent stages of the research (the quantitative section and model testing).
Finally, developing data prediction models and financial, improving strategies using business intelligence analyses has caused marketing, increasing startups to be able to predict changes and access to financial resources manage crises.
This research shows that using business intelligence in startups can help them operate with greater confidence under changing market conditions and economic unpredictability, and increase their organizational resilience.
