'English language learning' as an 'international language' requires innovative teaching methods that strengthen linguistic skills in an interactive and engaging context. One of these methods is play reading and educational theater, which, due to its creative and participatory nature, effectively impacts the strengthening of conversation skills. This research investigates the impact of using play reading and educational theater on improving the conversation skills of language learners. The research method of this study is a review, and by examining previous studies, it analyzes the impact of these two methods on various aspects of conversation, including fluency, accuracy, and vocabulary range. The findings show that active participation in play reading and educational theater not only increases learners' confidence in conversation but also improves their ability to use natural language, correct pronunciation, and a deeper understanding of linguistic structures. Additionally, group interaction and learning based on real-life situations increase motivation and reduce anxiety during conversation. Given these results, it is suggested that English language teachers utilize educational theater and play reading as complementary tools in classrooms to make conversation learning more enjoyable and effective for language learners.

Given the importance of conversation in the language learning process and the positive impact of dramatic methods on improving this skill, the present research investigates the impact of script reading and educational theater on strengthening conversation in English.
Research has shown that script reading, as a participatory activity, not only improves the pronunciation and fluency of language learners but also strengthens their communicative skills by increasing social interaction (Stern, 1980).
(Ziegler, 2012) states that "using drama and plays as a tool for language teaching can help language learners learn the language naturally and dynamically, because this method causes them to use the language in more real situations, which in turn will lead to the improvement of conversation skills.
" (Schmitz, 2017) shows in his book that using plays and theater in language teaching can help create positive and interactive learning environments where language learners are able to practice real conversations.
Given the results of this research, it can be concluded that the use of theater and script reading in English language educational programs not only effectively strengthens linguistic skills but also plays a significant role as an innovative and practical method in attracting students and facilitating the learning process.
