خلاصة:
This research was conducted with the aim of "the relationship between personality types and humor and its connection with improving the performance of employees of the Kerman Province Awqaf Department in the year 1402". The research method of the present study was descriptive of the correlational type. The measurement tools in this research were three standard questionnaires: Jung's personality types (1965), Martin et al.'s humor styles (2003), and Paterson's job performance questionnaire (1992). The statistical population consisted of all 168 employees of the Kerman Province Awqaf Department, and based on the Cochran formula, a sample size of 117 was obtained, which was tested in view of the stated goal and hypotheses. In data analysis, SPSS software was used, and for confirming or rejecting the research hypotheses, the Pearson correlation coefficient test was used among statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics. The findings of the present research indicate that there is a relationship between personality types and humor with the improvement of the performance of the employees of the Awqaf Department. There is a significant positive relationship between the extroverted personality type and the improvement of employee performance, but there was a significant inverse relationship between the introverted personality type and the improvement of employee performance. Additionally, there was a significant positive relationship between the two humor styles (connecting and self-enhancing, which are positive styles) and the improvement of performance in employees, but there was a significant inverse relationship between the two humor styles (aggressive and self-defeating, which are negative styles) and the improvement of employee performance.
