The cultural background of poets during the Constitutional era expands through translations and, in addition to traditional Iranian culture, includes European works and, generally, European culture. In this process of cultural transfer, European works—whether directly or indirectly and through translation—had many influences in various fields, including themes, imagery, and language (vocabulary, compounds, etc.) in modern Persian poetry. Dehkhoda's poem 'Yad Ar Ze Sham'e Morde' holds a special historical and literary position in the history of modern Persian literature and poetry, being the first important and influential Persian poem directly influenced by Western poetry. In the present research, Dehkhoda's poem 'Yad Ar Ze Sham'e Morde' will be compared comparatively within a scientific framework with Alfred de Musset's poem 'Souvenir' and also Rajai-Zadeh's poem 'Yad Ayet Bani', and the extent and type of Dehkhoda's influence from French and Turkish models in composing 'Yad Ar Ze Sham'e Morde' will be examined. Of course, the main focus of this article, as Dehkhoda himself explicitly stated and according to scientific and literary evidence, will be on the French model of this poem.

Yahya Arianpour, without mentioning the name of the French model of the poem "Yad Ar Ze Sham'e Mordeh," writes in this regard: "This poem is apparently the first Persian poem that has distinct traces of European poetry, and not only has it created a new form in the versified literature of Iran, but it is also worthy of attention due to its deep symbolism and firm tone" (Ibid: 94).
The only text that has generally dealt with the name and text of the French and Turkish models of the poem "Yad Ar Ze Sham'e Mordeh" is an article titled "A Comparative Look at Dehkhoda's Poem 'Ey Morgh-e Sahar' and Alfred de Musset's 'Be Yad Ar'" (Javadi, 1389: 106-117), which unfortunately, due to reasons such as the lack of even the smallest analysis regarding the poems, their shared characteristics, and the nature of the influence, the failure to use reliable research sources, the incompleteness of Rajizadeh's poem text, and the unreliability of the poem translations in this article, its scientific value has been called into question, to the extent that the reader becomes confused about its result and goal after reading it.
