What makes the stories "The Blind Owl" and "Malone Dies" attractive is the different attitude of the author toward the world and the presentation of philosophical and sometimes psychological perspectives; the presentation of issues such as the phenomenon of death and its impact on life, the monotony of life in the modern world, etc.
