خلاصة:
Gerard Genette's transtextualite theory is one of the new theories in reading and texts criticism. According to this theory, a literary work is defined and understood only in relation to other literary works, and all texts are influenced by pre-texts and mutually affect post-texts. The intertextualite relationships existing in the history of the cosmos and the impact that other texts have had on its formation is an existential necessity of this study. The study is a kind of qualitative one which is conducted based on Gerard Genette's theory of relativity and documentary and library studies. The findings show that each of the five types of the theory, namely intertextualite, paratextualite, arcitextualite, metatextualite and hypertextualite can be examined in this work. Applying Quranic verses and hadiths, Persian and Arabic verses, proverbs and verdicts, bringing rich, epic and educational genres to this historical work; his earlier and contemporary works, as well as existing texts, such as the title of the book, the sub-titles, the introduction, and the reviews and articles written on the text of this, and the explanation of Mongol’s invasion, identity and power of them as work’s hypertextualite, show the intertextualities relationships in which each one of them has been effective in creating this work, understanding and studying of the text
ملخص الجهاز:
The intertextual relationships present in Tarikh-i Jahangushay and the influence that other texts have had on its formation constitute the existential necessity of this research, which has been examined in the first volume using a qualitative analysis method based on Gerard Genette's transtextuality theory and relying on documentary and library studies.
The use of Quranic verses and hadiths, Persian and Arabic verses, proverbs and wisdom, the inclusion of lyric, epic, and didactic genres in this historical work; Juvayni's influence in technical and ornate prose style from Kalila and Dimna, Nafathat al-Masdur, Maqamat al-Hamidi, and other works preceding and contemporary to him, as well as the existing paratexts such as the book title, subtitles, introduction, and critiques and articles written about the text of this work, and also the explanation of the Mongol invasion, their identity, and power as extratextuality, all indicate the intertextual relationships in this work, each of which has been influential in the creation, understanding, and study of this work.
The article "Analysis of How Intertextual Types are Reflected with the Shahnameh in Dynastic Chronicles Based on Gerard Genette's Transtextuality" (1396) is written by Fereshteh Mohammadzadeh, Mohammad Jafar Yahaghi, and Bahman Namvar Motlagh, who have examined the role of epics in historical texts.
Upon reviewing the research literature, we did not find any work that has investigated the intertextual relationships in the text of Tarikh-i Jahangushay using Gerard Genette's transtextuality theory.
