Local history is considered one of the branches of historiography that has a long history in Iran; for example, the book 'History of Sistan' and the book 'History of Bukhara' are considered among the first local historiographies in Iran. The value of a historical book, as a historical source, is conditional upon its antiquity and proximity to the time of the described events or the use of ancient works that have not been preserved in any other way. Some of the earliest historians are important because they record specific information for us for the first time. In the field of the history of the Georgians of Shushtar, the book 'Tadhkirat al-Shushtar' written by Sayyid Abdullah Jazairi is one of the first books that provides comprehensive and complete information in this field, such that more than one-third of this book is regarding the historiography of the Georgians of Shushtar. In this research, we seek to answer the question: To what extent have national and local historians addressed the history of the Georgians of Shushtar? The answer to this research is based on the fact that the book 'Tadhkirat al-Shushtar' is one of the first and most important sources that has dealt with the history of the Georgians of Shushtar in a completely specialized manner, and other authors have benefited from the contents of this book.
