Today, the concept of citizenship, as one of the guiding concepts of the modern world for sustainable human interactions, represents the relationship between the individual and society in the framework of rights and responsibilities; on one hand, solving urban problems, urbanization crises, and reforming citizen behavior, and the existence of an appropriate culture of citizenship and urbanism—such as urban responsibility, law-abidingness of citizens, and normativity—are patterns of urbanism, and these categories are part of the necessities of urban life; so that all components of urban life, considering the role of culture in the social relations of the city, urban facilities, transportation systems, the physical fabric of the city, and urban uses, must strive to create the necessary balance.
