خلاصة:
In the General Persian syllabus, which was formulated by the Supreme Council for Planning of the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education more than three decades ago, a massive and chaotic collection of materials necessary for teaching General Persian was promulgated. Since then until today, this syllabus has apparently remained in effect, but what is seen in practice in teaching General Persian is different from the expectations stated in the syllabus. Among the various materials included in the syllabus, the first and apparently most important section pertains to Persian writing. The title of the first section of the syllabus is 'About Writing,' and what follows it refers to issues related to authorship. In this research, thirty selected books (selected completely randomly but within a specific time range) were examined in terms of compliance with the syllabus, and the result was that in only three of the thirty mentioned books were all items related to writing included, while the rest of the books addressed these topics in a scattered and selective manner. Almost half of the books have not paid any attention to teaching Persian writing at all.
