The fifth category includes types that do not exist in traditional literature, at least with the same structure, form, and fundamental characteristics, and emerged in the Persian language during the twentieth century.
For example, modern poetry has a living and ِ organic relationship with traditional poetry in terms of content; or narrative literature, especially dramatic literature, has precedents in works such as the Shahnameh, the Khamsa of Nizami, and the Haft Awrang of Jami, albeit in different forms; or criticism in the traditional explanation of poetic and prose texts is preceded by ِ a relatively brilliant history.
Furthermore, despite the transformation of themes, content, and structure, the spirit of Iranian culture has remained preserved in contemporary literary works, and these works, although nourished by the wellspring of world literature and influenced by the scientific research methods of the West, have not lost their national character.
Indeed, the monumental works of traditional literature emerged based on a vast volume of legends, tales, narratives, and allegories, both written and oral, following a multitude of literary products and based on our ancient cultural traditions, whereas the new types of contemporary ِ ِ ِ literature must build and create their own foundation of tradition.
In the field of unprecedented works that have emerged in the modern era of literary research, one cannot fail to mention the more extensive studies conducted in the field of Ancient and Middle Iranian languages, which have themselves transformed into a very important independent discipline.
