Globalization, through its extensive, continuous, and interrelated economic, social, cultural, and political effects, is considered today as an important process in understanding the consequences of development in peripheral regions such as developing countries and rural communities. Additionally, globalization is influenced by various factors (social, cultural, economic, infrastructure services, etc.) due to its different aspects. The main objective of the present research is to investigate the correlation between development indicators such as educational facilities, demographic characteristics, etc., on the process of globalization in rural areas. Research method: The present research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method. In order to collect the necessary data and information, documentary methods (library studies) and the statistical center were used. The statistical population of the research consists of 147 villages with more than 10 households in Chenaran County, and in order to examine the relationship between the research variables, the Pearson correlation model was used in the statistical software SPSS. The results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between having the most important development indicators and the level of globalization in all dimensions, such that the highest level of correlation was obtained between the literacy rate (with a correlation of 0.85) and employment rate (with a correlation of 0.84) with the level of access to and use of newspapers and magazines. Also, on the other hand, the lowest level of correlation was obtained between the literacy rate (with a correlation of 0.09) and the level of access to telecommunication offices.

Following the Islamic Revolution and the increase in the level of services and facilities within them, villages today enjoy most of the indicators necessary for human development, such that studies show that villages, in terms of enjoying development indicators (economic, social, information and communication technology, infrastructural, health and medical, etc.
The present research seeks to investigate the impact of the aforementioned development indicators (human, economic, and health) on the level of globalization (utilization of the internet, exports and imports, access to ICT offices) of the studied villages and to examine it at the village scale.
