خلاصة:
The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the impact of watching satellite series on lifestyle. It focuses on female communication students at Islamic Azad University, Tehran East Branch. The statistical population of the research consisted of 102 women who had access to satellite, and due to the small size of the statistical population, the entire sample was considered as the statistical population. The researcher-made questionnaire for this study includes twenty questions, consisting of 19 closed questions and one open question, and the alpha coefficient for the measurement tool has a reliability of 0.87. Data analysis was carried out at both descriptive and inferential levels. With the presentation of descriptive and inferential findings, we have reached the conclusion that in satellite series, positive themes such as fighting against obstacles and problems and respect for parents, and negative themes such as illicit relationships, promiscuity, and infidelity were prominent and evident. Based on the testing of existing hypotheses and the analysis of findings, it can be concluded in this research that the more satellite series are watched, the more the lifestyle of female communication students at Islamic Azad University, Tehran East, changes in accordance with these series.
