خلاصة:
The present article is the result of research conducted in the summer of 2011 regarding the relationship between cultural capital and socio-economic status among various individuals aged 18 to 60 living in Tehran. To examine cultural capital, Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework was used. In this framework, cultural capital has three dimensions: embodied, objectified, and institutionalized. Socio-economic status also represents social stratification factors from a Weberian perspective. To investigate this relationship, the survey method and questionnaire technique were employed, and for data analysis, one-way analysis of variance and related tests were used. The result indicates the existence of a relationship between individuals' socio-economic status and their level of cultural capital, which is consistent with most other studies conducted domestically and abroad in this field.

com 2- Master of Sociology at Allameh Tabataba'i University 34 / Specialized Quarterly of Social Sciences, Year 6, Issue (17), Summer 2012 There is a relationship between the socio-economic status of individuals and the balance of their cultural capitals, which is consistent with most other studies conducted domestically and internationally in this field.
However, the issue of the relationship between cultural capital and socio-economic status, which is the subject of the present research, is actually indicative of a type of social relationship that reproduces dominance.
However, by defining classes based on the amount and composition of capital, Bourdieu provides more extensive possibilities for examining and criticizing the concept of dominance compared to his predecessors, who focused solely on a single dimension (economic, cultural, political, social).
