According to United Nations reports, there are four billion six hundred million mobile phone users in the world, among which Iran's share is forty-seven million people. This means a seventy percent mobile phone penetration rate in the world and a sixty percent penetration rate in Iran. According to predictions, the mobile phone penetration rate will reach ninety-five percent by 2013! Given the growing penetration rates of mobile phones in most countries and the imminent establishment of a 'global mobile network,' it seems that a specific culture of mobile phone use is forming globally, in which the mobile phone will be considered the primary tool in establishing and expanding professional-social communications. The emergence and expansion of commercial and administrative software compatible with mobile phones, the adaptation of service services to mobile phones, and the increasing welcome to educational and entertainment software are progressing rapidly to transform this device into a multi-purpose tool for communication, information, education, entertainment, etc. This article, in several parts, addresses the introduction of functions and features, information and communication security, methods of intrusion and espionage, methods of countering them, and mobile phone pathology.
