7 Dr. Siddiquov's work is particularly noteworthy from two aspects: first, he has presented a complete and accurate biography of the great poet to Tajik readers; second, in addition to the Tehran editions, he has utilized old and reliable manuscripts kept in the Mirzaev Manuscript Treasury of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan under numbers 305 and 124.
This situation, meaning the existence of more reliable manuscripts in Tajikistan, presents an opportunity for the works of Sheikh Saadi to be re-corrected and completed.
The reason for the intense and pleasant inclination of Tajiks toward Sheikh Saadi and his works is not only the sweetness and richness of his words, but also because the esteemed poet has many times kindly and joyfully remembered Khujand, Khwarazm, Samarkand, Merv, Bukhara, Jayhun, and other corners and elements of the land of Feraravd.
