Are gender differences exacerbated in schools? Are classroom interactions between teachers and students creators of gender inequalities in the classroom and subsequently in society? As a member of society, the teacher is undoubtedly influenced by the dominant culture of the society in which they live. Existing attitudes regarding the abilities of girls and boys and their level of success in various educational fields and different jobs shape the teacher's perceptions. In this research, the impact of student gender on the teacher's classroom management method was investigated. For this purpose, a sample of 88 female co-teaching teachers who had at least four years of teaching experience in the fourth grade of elementary school (44 from girls' schools and 44 from boys' schools) were selected in the city of Tehran. The research data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. The research findings showed that classroom interactions among students and teachers are not separate from the attitudes and expectations of the teachers. 65.8 percent of the teachers stated that they change their teaching method based on the gender of the students, and 78.5 percent of them believed that girls and boys should choose a job appropriate to their gender.

The behavior of teachers toward girls causes them to perceive the classroom conditions and the method of its management as different from boys' classes, in a way that confirms traditional perceptions of women's roles (Alper2, 2011).
Therefore, stereotypical perceptions about women's education, the gender roles that society expects from men and women, existing attitudes regarding the abilities of girls and boys, and their level of success in various academic fields and different occupations, shape the teacher's perceptions.
The axes of the questionnaire in the research were as follows: teachers' attitude toward their profession; the feeling of being a woman in society; teachers' expectations of their children in career choice; the relationship between gender and educational sampling; teaching methods; question and answer methods and curriculum; punishment and reward methods; students' perceptions of their gender; and the method of maintaining order in the classroom.
