This school in the realm of visual arts first crystallized in painters such as (Munch), (Ensor), (Van Gogh), and (Gauguin), and then like a storm, it invades other lands; in Belgium and the Netherlands, artists such as (Permeke), (De Smit), (Torp), and (Verckman) are considered representatives of this style with their own specific styles.
The (Die Brücke) group acts as a point of intersection and encounter for several different perspectives: Romantic tradition, the new socio-political reality of the Prussian state, the past culture of painters such as Van Gogh, Gauguin, Munch, Ensor, and Ms. Becker, as well as relationships with the (Fauve) movement.
The latter group was formed one year before the dissolution of (Die Brücke) and is considered the starting point of abstract lyricism, and artists such as (Kandinsky), (Klee), (refer to the image on the page) Munch: Sick Child.
