In some cases, Anglo-American cataloging rules do not align with the rules of the Descriptive Cataloging Manual and the method used in the National Bibliography for the descriptive cataloging of images. While examining these inconsistent cases, this article emphasizes uniformity and coordination to prepare the way for the machine processing of image-related information in MARC Iran and provides suggestions in this regard.
