Access to printed articles has long been possible through various means and different methods; some of these methods include: the use of various public and specialized indexes, library catalogs, citations or reference lists of other articles, and recommendations from readers and colleagues.
The theory of study states that if purely electronic journals want to become part of the traditional scientific research system, they must be included in large scientific indexes along with other journal articles, be placed in library catalogs, and be cited by authors in research journals.
, it was decided that the present study would examine purely electronic journals that meet the following criteria: - Currently being published, - Having a peer-review board, - Their original publication is in electronic format, - Have a research focus; - Have an archive of 2 to 3 years (at least 20 articles) available, - Include articles in the English language, - Do not have a subscription fee.
