It is decreed that Their Excellencies, the holy descendants, who are from the offspring of the elder Sultan Shah Ansari (may his grave be blessed), according to the detailed manner below, being from the lineage of Haji Sheikh Abdul Azim, Haji Sheikh Abdul Rahim, the sons of the late Mirza Abu al-Qamis Khan al-Ansari—(1) Mirza Muhammad Tahir, known by the pen name Abu Wahid Qazvini, was engaged in scribal duties and historiography during the era of Shah Abbas II and was appointed to the ministry in the late era of Shah Suleiman Safavi; he has a detailed Diwan of nearly ninety thousand verses and has written the history of Shah Abbas II from the year 1052 to 1073 in an elegant hand, which has recently been published in Arak under the name "Abbasnameh" through the efforts and correction of Ibrahim Dehgan.
