It can be expected that differences in the type of attitude toward human essence, abilities, and characteristics produce various strands in the outcome of a thought system; therefore, the effects of such foundations can also be sought within the context of the political culture of societies. The type of perception and conception of human limitations and abilities, and the quality of human character and nature, brings subjects to an insight regarding their position and status in their human existence, which shapes their decision-making and thinking regarding how they conduct their socio-political actions. In this research, by studying ten prominent 19th-century French and English novels and analyzing their anthropological content, the footprint of the essential perspective and perception of human nature, as well as its sequence in the socio-political life of the people of these countries, is compared.

In the course of this research, by studying ten prominent 19th-century French and English novels and analyzing their anthropological content, the footprint of the essential perspective and perception of human nature, and simultaneously its sequence in the socio-political life of the people of these countries, is compared.
Therefore, what is pursued in this research is the tracking of the perception and understanding of human essence and nature in nineteenth-century French and English novels, and in this way, achieving the goal of whether the traces of this influence and being influenced can be followed within the literature of these countries as one of the components shaping French and English political culture.
However, Bel-Ami can be considered a moral and social satire in which the writer depicts a kind of humiliating national condition for the French during the war period, and addresses the criticism of immorality and hypocrisy of the people, specifically the upper classes of society such as the bourgeoisie and the aristocracy.
