خلاصة:
Throughout Islamic history, Shia women have dedicated themselves to learning and teaching the teachings of the Infallibles (peace be upon them). They have acquired much knowledge and wisdom from those exalted figures and passed it on to future generations, thereby becoming among the narrators of the Fourteen Infallibles (peace be upon them) and teaching valuable content to others. Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), the third Imam and the rightful successor to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family), lived among Muslims between the years 3–61 AH. Women including sisters, wives, daughters, supporters, and followers of His Eminence lived around the candle of his existence and recounted words and reports regarding the circumstances and conduct of that martyr of Karbala to others; this article examines the biographies of a number of them.

Introduction Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), after the martyrdom of his noble brother Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) in the year 49 AH, assumed the leadership and imamate of the Muslims based on the divine command and the text (nass) of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family), and this coincided with the universal caliphate of Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, the Umayyad caliph.
When the governor of Medina, by order of the caliph, was tasked with obtaining allegiance (bay'ah) from Hussain bin Ali (peace be upon him) for Yazid bin Muawiyah and pressured the Imam, His Eminence, to escape the existing conditions in Medina, set out from Medina for Mecca on 29 Rajab, year 60 AH, as he himself said, "I am going forth to enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil" (2) and entered this city on the third of Sha'ban.
Allamah Maqani, by quoting Kulayni's narration, mentions her among the women of hadith, and after that says: At least the conclusion that can be drawn from this narration is that Umm Aslam was a follower of the Imamate, possessed a good state (hasan), and was under the care of the family of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).
Allamah Majlisi, quoting the book Basair al-Darajat, mentions a narration whose essence is as follows: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) called for Umm Salama and handed her a sheepskin that was full of knowledge (4) and said: Whoever requests it after me shall be the Imam and Caliph after me.
