Abstract:
The music of poem is a subject worthy of consideration in literature. It makes the literary structure of poem distinguished from dialogues and folklore literatures, using tools such as rhythm, rhyme, figures of speech, etc. This is an integral part of Arabic and Persian Literatures. In this research, firstly, a comparison is made between poetical principles of the two languages; and secondly, the poetry musical principles and rules are deducted from the works of two poets, i.e. HAFEZ and ABOUNOVAS both of whom are considered as the masters of figures of speech; and finally it is concluded that the fundamental of the ancient Arabic literary poem music has been on the basis of prosodic fraction and tunes; that the Arabs pay more attention to rhyme than to refrain; and that their literature are different with the Persian literature in certain principles. The music of Persian poetry is based on segmentation of syllables, and its refrain has taken a new form. The Persian literature enjoys more expressive and eloquence in poetry musical part and is more pleasant. However, having compared the poems of those two poets, it appears that apart from the fact that prosodic meters of the poetries of ABOUNOVAS are more diversified in comparison with those of HAFEZ, yet, the attractiveness, the beauty and the profound relation with music in HAFEZ’s poets are higher than those of ABOUNOVAS. Yet, we may consider both of them as innovative and innovator poets in literature, for, their poetical power appears to be par from many aspects.
