Abstract:
Safavid Iran was a period of significant political and religious change. These changes led to the emergence of a new structure in institutions, institutions and social classes that did not exist before or took on a Safavid character with changes. The Safavids inherited the civilizational and cultural heritage of the Iranian society before them and changed it in some cases and in some cases added new elements to it. Thus, the political and cultural structure of Safavid Iran created a series of sometimes profound changes in Iranian society. The most important period for creating the necessary bases for the interaction and cooperation of various social classes with the government was in Safavid Iran during the reign of Shah Abbas I. During this period, extensive relations were formed with the government between the four institutions of the clergy, the tribes, the farmers, the merchants and the bureaucrats. The Safavid rule was based on a combination of tribal forces and ideological power. The tribes were initially considered an influential role in power. With the establishment of central power and the legitimacy of the government, attention to the ulema increased and new forces entered the government apparatus. Accordingly, the present study will examine the interaction of social classes with the institution of power and government in the Safavid period.
